néanmoins: can someone please

make a sentence using this word to demonstrate its use?

Does it mean the same as "sinon" and are the 2 words interchangeable?

néanmoins = nevertheless / yet

not interchangeable with sinon.

sinon = otherwise / failing this / except (depends on the context)

Re: néanmoins: can someone please

I use it to express "nonetheless" which perhaps should be "nevertheless".
