Shakes eh!!!

Well the word in French for a shaker is the same as that for the person that mimes the action of a cack handed eplucher Wink [;-)]

I was unaware of  this when I first described one of my malarial fits Big Smile [:D]

U shaped with a two piece metal blade running across the top. Wonderful for peeling veg. Fast and economic, a speed peeler. In England sometimes called a French Peeler.

And Chancer I reckon, like my SIL, you are holding your veg at the wrong angle if you having problems with it.
