How much noise do you tolerate?

Noisy cockerels, cows, budgies, peacocks, geese, kids, lawn mowers...the list goes on, but someone in the Dordogne contacted an infestation company to get rid of all the cigales round their place because they are too noisy too noisy too noisy.
The mind boggles.
Was it one of our forumites; Nimt, got any ideas?🤪

Barking dogs. Don't blame the dogs, more the low level intelligence owners.

Got as far as the police tribunal with one neighbour before they moved. What amazes me is they cannot (or won't) see the problem. "Dogs bark" is their normal answer!

Our sheep always made a lot of noise after we slaughtered their lambs. Stopped after a few days though.

Re: How much noise do you tolerate?

Just back from a holiday in a village where the dogs (we presume, not kids) cried at each clocher ... 7am .. 9am ... etc .. but only then ... poor things we thought.  Otherwise, never heard them.   Lots of tractors around too, going along the road and up the one at the end of the garden .. c'est normal we said.  And they didn't start as early as the vignerons do, either!

The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible.

Screaming kids! Some noise is good, even welcome and definitely expected as it is the summer season, but some families do have no control whatever, unfortunately.

And the *** as a furt barbeques that can get very over the top and go on far too long.
